Powering down before full boot up

I have run into this several times. If I power down the master switch before the skyview has fully booted up, the unit will continue to boot up on the back up battery. If I have walked away without thinking, the unit will fully boot up on the battery and of course run down the back up battery over night. This is without any notice that the unit is running on the battery.
also, I may be missing something, but when I was trouble shooting the unit for another problem, the only way I could sometimes notice that the unit was running on the back up battery was the slight flickering of the screen. js

We're planning on adding an on-screen indication that you're on the battery at some point.

Until is SkyView is fully booted, it can't tell to tell whether you booted it by pressing the left button, or by flicking the master switch. So unfortunately, there's not much we can do to improve the power off before SkyView is booted situation.
