"Probeless" Angle Of Attack Feature

I'd like to see a "Probeless" Angle Of Attack feature added.  See this FAQ from a competitor for some info.

They claim to have flown it against several AoA systems and it's identical in performance.

The SkyView seems to have all the data necessary to implement this AoA feature.

And yet GRT who did probeless AOA now offers a Probed version.
I think that a probe measures actual instantaneous airflow, whereas a computed version infers average airflow.

On the other hand, the probe only measures a specific location on one wing.

That sounds potentially dangerous to me. Might be "mostly ok" in gentle maneuvering, but could also be misleading.

Not to be a killjoy, but I would think it might pose a liability issue to Dynon.
