problem updating of d100

I'm updating one efis d100. This is out of the plane on my desk with a self made cable where i have wired only the power and the three wire for PC.
when i connect to the pc the efis screen became yellow but the pc cannot communicate ith it and i cannot do the update, with this pc i have update the ems 120 without any problem.
The connection on the plugs are right i have checked it two times.
What can i do???

Given that particular behavior, it sounds like the EFIS-D100 serial transmit wire is probably not connected. It should run between pin 10 on the 25 pin connector and pin 2 on the 9 pin connector.

I have test all the wire two times, they are all correct, but the problem remain. please help me! :'(

Well, the yellow screen implies that the EFIS can hear the PC. But the reverse isn't happening. If you're possitive the wiring is sound we may need to have a look at your unit. If you're at that point, give us a call at 425-402-0433 for a return authorization.

Normally, we'd suggest things like trying another PC or USB-serial converter (if you're using one), but if the same setup worked with your EMS, neither of those would make a difference.
