I have a D10 (version 1.08) unit in my RV6 which has been flying for around 8 years. I am not the builder. Recently I started having heading indication problems, large ones.Errors as much as 40 degrees which cannot be corrected with the MAGADJ Menu. I also have lost my OAT,ALT, and TAS display. When I select OAT to bring it up, nothing happens. Everything else seems to be fine. Altitude, Airspeed and Attitude, Clock, Timer etc all normal. Any thoughts. I plan to update the firmware if I can figure out how to connect my laptop to the instrument.

Sounds like your EDC-D10 remote magnetometer has become either disconnected or broken. That would cause the OAT to go away (since it's connected through it), and the EFIS-D10 to revert to its internal (panel based, very innacurate) heading. Check the wiring first. If that doesn't reveal anything, get in touch with our support staff directly at 425-402-0433.
