Here is a product suggestion... is there a way to add an event marker feature? In other words if there was a "button" that the pilot can press that would create a digital marker that could be notated on the engine monitor later.

Example... if you are having EGT spikes and you think it could be associated with something not monitored by the EMS (lighting strikes, keying microphone, turning on/off ancillary equipment) then the pilot could press the event marker button and later see if there is a correlation.

I would do a screen capture. In fact, i do screen captures all the time to remind me of all kinds of various things, not just EMS related. Traffic, airspace, , EMS alarms, speed, efficiency, hobbes, tach times, etc.

You can use one of your contacts to mark a section or point in time. I used my pump contact to mark a block of data I wanted to examine.

Oooh, i like that idea, too. ;) Maybe use something i use even less often like Pitot heat. Yep, Pitot heat is one of the available contacts for me. Thanks!!!
