Although I would really like the 5% EMS display option highly discussed in the other thread --
As an alternative that might be much easier to program, can a user selected option to add the engine RPM and/or MAP value(s) to the PFD display be made available?
I am still building my airplane, but my intention is to have an idiot light to monitor the EMS functions during most of cruise time. As long as that light is off, I am happy. -- If the light happens to come on, or if I feel the need to check the EMS temps and other values, it is easy enough to switch to the existing EMS screen at that time.
It sure would be nice to not require 20% of the screen space just to monitor the engine RPM (and MAP if appropriate).
