I have my panel designed with a switch to control the power out to the servos. I am using this for a safety feature that will absolutely disable the servos if I need to.

I saw a post somewhere from Dynon that suggest that if the D100 is booted up without power applied to the servos that it will lose its configuration data for the servos rendering them inop until they are reconfigured.

Is this accurate?

Re: Question on a switching the power to the AP se

I have my servo's on a seperate breaker, and I am sure I have done this, with no side effect...... but I can not be sure. I doubt that is a likely scenario.

I will be surprised if its true! :-?

It will only lose the cal data if they are booted inop, you remove them from the DSAB config, and then reboot.

So no, you won't lose the config. You will get a warning on the screen if you don't turn them on though.

The other question was about actually having them non-configured and then configuring in flight.
