Has anyone hook-up the ray allen trim indicator to GP? If so what was the required Kohms resistor ?

No resistor required:

Blue -> Ground
Green -> GP input
Orange -> 5V out from EMS/D180

Can it piggy-back off of the stock indicator?

Re: ray allen trim indicator resistor size require

Yes, you can piggyback it. To do this, hook just the output wire from the Ray Allen (Green) to our GP input. Do not hook the 5V from the EMS to the sender at all.

Be aware that if you do this, the EMS will only be accurate when the Ray Allen display is powered on and working.

This isn't redundant- any failure in the system can take out both indicators.
