Hi,
I just connected my roll servo in my Tundra with a skyview and it detected the servo but said the firmware was wrong I hit the update button ,It now detects the servo but say it it not installed ,even if you disconnect the wires it still says it is detected .
Any ideas what to do.

Installing a Dynon Avionics servo is a three-part process.
1. Physical and electrical installation.
2. SkyView Network (or DSAB, in our older products) configuration - that gets the servo into the NETWORK.
3. AP calibration so that the system knows what the servo is supposed to DO (Pitch, or Roll).

I don't think you have done step 3: SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > AP SERVO CALIBRATION > CALIBRATION > (one more right click). Follow the instructions on the screen. After (successfully) completing the servo calibration, the system will know that new servo is supposed to handle the ROLL axis, and it will be available for use.

I have re done the configure and it still detects the servo but when you go to the auto pilot setup screen it still says it is not installed ,
I have checked all pin positions .
This system has not been updated from when I purchased it ,it has Vers 10 on it I will update to see if that helps.

You need to do servo calibration. "Not installed" means the installation is not complete and part of the installation is calibration.

Hi ,
You were right when I found the hardware calibration section the 2 servo.s were there and I calibrated them both and now all is well.
Thankyou very much
