Reading Serial Port to get AGL data

I'm installing an HDX1100 and would like to get it's computation of AGL as part of an external logic to warn me when gear should be extended (ie when AGL is less than 1000 ft, for instance).  I know I can probably program an alert IN the HDX, but I'd like to power a separate warning light, and externally, I have access to sensors for the gear position.

OK, the questions:
a) Can I access the AGL calculation from the Serial ports?
b) What is the RS232 protocol for requesting this information?

If the above is true, can I also request the true airspeed in similar way?

Thanks much,

a) This isn't currently output on serial ports
b) There isn't currently a way to query for information over serial ports

Unfortunately, this isn't currently a data field that is enumerated via serial (or any other) output.
