OK so I went into into network settings and configured and it recognized my AP servos, My EMS and the Skyview but it did not recognize the ARINC unit, The ADHARS or the GPS. THe ADHARS is attached to ARINC unit (if that helps) and I have a GArmin 430W that still needs to be configured (I dont know if that means anything regarding the Skyview recognizing those other 3 modules).

Any ideas???

Thanks

Doug

If it didn't find the ARCINC or ADAHRS and they are both on the same network cable I would look at that wiring.

You can check for serial activity on the serial port that you connected the GPS to under the Local Display Setup Menu. Are we talking about the SV-GPS-250? or the 430W?

Actually neither unit, the SV - GPS - 250 or the Garmin 430W are recognizing a GPS signal. What has me wondering is the Skyview itself isnt recognizing that the SV-GPS-250 at all? Still trying to figure this out if you have any ideas please provide. Thanks

Did you check for serial activity on the SV-GPS-250 port (should be Port 5)? Does the GPS have a clear view of the sky? The other GPS won't work until you solve the network problem.

Two separate things going on there.

On the module issue - are the lights on the ADAHRS and ARINC module doing anything at all? If they're not lit or flashing at all, then something is likely up with the wiring. If they are lighting up and/or flashing, you should get in touch with our tech support directly for some more personalized assistance.

As for GPS. Your 430W and SkyView GPSes aren't dependent on each other for GPS. There are three things you need to figure out here, independently:
-Is SkyView receiving data from the SV-GPS-250? To answer this, ensure that the serial port that you've connected the SV-GPS-250 to (usually serial port 5) under SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > SERIAL PORT SETUP is showing activity on the "RX counter" and "good sentences" lines. If not, there's probably a wiring problem.
-Completely independently, your 430W has its own GPS antenna/receiver. So next, you need to sort that out (with help from Garmin, etc)
-Once you have the 430W receiving its own GPS signal, then you can sort out connecting it to the ARINC module (once you have that sorted out) and getting the GPS guidance from the 430W over onto SkyView's HSI.
