Red Cube Fuel Flow transducer installation

Other than I warning in the installation material that comes with the red cube is there any reason I can't mount the fuel flow meter downstream of my electric fuel pump but upstream of the engine driven pump?

I have seen a few installations with this set up and have not heard of any ill effects. I have a Jabiru 3300 installed on a Zenith 650. The fuel line goes straight from the mechanical fuel pump straight to the carb. I want to avoid any more modifications.

I have my fuel flow (red cube) between the two pumps. The only thing you will notice is that the fuel flow goes up until the fuel pressure maxes out when you turn on the boost pump.
