Red X's

Hi --
I'm doing the initial configuration of a new SV1000 EMS & am getting big red x's across the CHT's & coolant temp (the other icons seem to be ok but I haven't fired up the engine -- Rotax 912UL2 -- yet). Also, the oil temp is showing 188 deg (it's not THAT hot in my shop!). I've gone thru the mapping & config processes several times with no change. Any thoughts?

It may help to start with our "canned" setup for the 912 that's available here. Beyond that, you can use the EMS SETUP > SENSOR DEBUG DATA page to get an idea of what is going on at the EMS input. The Cal(V) column is basically voltage. 5V often means there's no sensor connected. 0V often means that the wire going to the input is grounded out. If it's somewhere in the middle, but you're still getting weird values, you may have the wrong sensor type connected, or perhaps the sensor wired wrong.

Thanks for the help, I found the problem once I got more familiar with what's going on in configuration & got the correct oil temp probe, everything's working fine now.
