Redundancy logic

I'm on my 2nd airplane building and happy with what I have Dynon wise in my Glastar, but the RV-10 should become another kind of flying machine.

So redundancy, the screens is no question and power as well but if I have 2 or 3 ADAHRS how do they determine what data is the correct one?  Is there a communication and will 3 be the better way as then 2 have to agree with each other to determine who is right and who is wrong?

Thanks a lot of sharing some insights in that.

At the moment, the customer can easily manually switch between multiple ADAHRS in the system, and SkyView will automatically switch if there is an outright failure of an ADAHRS. But there isn't any automated cross-comparison or voting mechanism at the moment, though that sort of more sophisticated redundancy is planned.

Thanks a lot for the explanation, but on a 2 screen system you can choose always only one ADAHRS for both, or can you run split for the two screens? Concerning cross-comparison, is the time horizon months or years :)

Thanks a lot

Currently, only one ADAHRS provides system-wide flight information at a time to all screens displaying the PFD, but you can quickly switch between multiple ADAHRSes in the aircraft.
