I am building an RV-6 tailwheel aircraft and installing the EDC-D10A Remote compass wth my D100 EFIS.

My preferred location for the remote compass is immediately in front of the F609 fuseage bulkhead, cantilevered off the H Stab deck.

I am concerned about the shock loads the remote may experience from the tailwheel.
Has anybody installed one at this location on any RV taildragger? If so what is your experience to date?

A friend has done this in his nosewheel -7A & it works well.

Lots of people put em on the aft deck. Never heard of a problem.

The EDC-D10A is not particularly susceptible to shocks. If it is a magnetically benign location, it should work fine.
