Remote Compass Issues, AP not working

Hello all!

Just recieved new Rans S7 with Flightdek in it.  Very pleased with airplane and avionics, however when flying today the remote compass stopped working, meaning I both lost the heading bug on the dynon display, but also the ability to use heading mode on the autopilot. 


Anyone have similar issues?  Easy troubleshooting help?

If it was there, and then it wasn't, I'd start by looking at the wiring between the two units. There isn't a known problem that causes heading to disappear randomly.

Now, you said that the bug and the AP mode weren't available. But was the heading tape still showing on the top of the display? If so, you may have just inadvertently turned the bug off. The bugs can be toggled on and off via the AP>BUGS menu.
