During the past week I have noticed an unexpected rise in fuel pressure in my RV-7, carburated 0-320 engine. For the four months I have owned the aircraft, fuel pressure was in the 3.0 psi range during ground ops, and 4-5 psi range while airborne. Now suddenly I am at 6.0 psi on the ground and 6-7 psi airborne. The aircraft runs fine with MAP and RPM solid. My first plan is to replace the sensor since it seems to be the cheapest and easiest thing to do. I am not the original builder. Any tips out there for replacing the sensor?
