Resistors

I received 4 resistors with my HDX. I don’t see them in the schematic. Anyone know what they’re for?

Depending on the value, there are several places they could be used. Search the installation guide for the word "resistor". You'll get numerous hits.

What are the values of the resistors? Which items were they packaged/kitted with?

I know when I got my equipment, I got 4 resistors with the EMS module. 2 were 30K ohms, but don’t remember the other ones. They might be 60K ohm ones to use with a 912 Rotax install in the RV12. They were 2 different value pairs to use if you were going to use the P leads input for RPM. Page 7-48 in the AO install manual covers that. You need these to help stabilize the pulses and it gives some resistance on the lines so if you got a short up to the resistor, it would not ground the p lead, and the mag will not shut down.

There is also one resistor that came with the transponder, which you will need if you use another GPS source to go into pin 3. John B that is the resistor on my board.
