I have fitted a D120 in my sportcruiser with a rotax 912 uls engine.
In Global parameters I set it as a Rotax 912 when operating the rpm is about half of what it should be. Do I have to adjust this. I expected this to be set as I had told the Dynon it was a 912

Pulses/rev are still set separately in case you have some different mechanism for picking up the tach signal (besides the trigger coil). So you'll still need to adjust that. 1 pulse/rev should be the correct setting for the 912 if you're off the trigger coil.

It won't until you've gone through the full calibration procedures per the installation manual.

I have tried that when you add the fuel it just says no change was detected

If they're not standard resistive float sensors, or alternatively sensors with an analog voltage output that varies within 0-5V, then they're not compatible at all. If they are floats, what is the sensor value shown as you calibrate? Generically, that message means that we're not seeing the resistance change on the sender as you're adding fuel.

They are resistive floats as supplied by the aircraft manufacturer.
I know this set up works with the D120 its on plenty of the SC kits out there I have not seen any reading on the guages
