Runway information.

I select an airfield on Skyview Touch and go to Runway.
In the case of EGBJ it gives me information for 27-09 but the highlight will not shift to other runways.
Is this a bug that needs fixing?

Once you've selected the RWY tab, you should be able to either spin or move up/down the joystick knob closest to the map page to highlight the different (in this airports case - 4) runways that are available to see more information about them on the right hand side of the window. Is that not working? If not, what version of SkyView are you running, and what aviation database?

I am running firmware version: 13.0.3.3233 and av data v8 201511.0003.
Just to clarify. On the map info page I can scroll up and down as you describe in RECENT and FREQ but in RWY the highlight momentarily flicks up or down but returns to the RWY that was highlighted on opening. It will not display the details of other runways.

Do any other pages that have scrolling lists, like NRST, have any similar behavior (it sounds like not, based on your last post)? Is this a SkyView Touch display or the non-touch version? One theory which has holes in it is if you had a touch display that were registering errant touches due to a defect, that it might be touching that same spot on the screen when there is no real touch. But if that were happening I'd expect you to see other weirdnesses, like other lists resetting, or the map page registering touches away from the airplane.

Does it make a difference whether you twist the joystick to scroll vs nudge it up and down?

Two new touch screens supplied about two months ago.

It doesn't work on either screen wether you touch, turn or nudge.

RWY is the only feature that is effected, as far as I have discovered.

I admit we're a bit stumped on this one. If you use the SCREEN>LAYOUT button to change the position of the map page, does that change anything? What about having different combinations of the MAP, PFD, and EMS pages up?

I'll try your suggestion within the next few days.

One other thing I have noticed. When you touch one of the fields on the PFD, VS ALT HDG etc that box is highlighted by a white frame line. I presume this white line is displayed to indicate the "touch" has been activated.

On my PFD as many as three boxes remain highlighted with the white line.

Is this as DYNON intended?

The display or function is not adversely effected, it seems to be just a cosmetic issue.

If you have a dual screen system, then you can have up to four functions assigned to knobs, so 4 of them could be highlighted with the white outline. The outline means "assigned to A knob somewhere in the system" not "assigned to a specific knob"

Thanks for the information about the white boxes. Works just as you described.
Runway information - Re. your Reply#6, I have now tried every conceivable combination on both screens but the highlight will not shift on RWY. It does what it should do on all other functions.

I think at this point we should have you get in touch with our support department at either 425-402-0433 or at support at dynonavionics dot com so that we can do some higher bandwidth troubleshooting on this. We're still stumped here.
