I have a dual HDX setup in my RV12 (ELSA). Trying to get an aural alert at Vfe (81 knots) if the flaps are not retracted.
I added a contact switch at the flaperon mixer and ran wire to unused pin (EMS 37 pin 10) so that a ground is passed through the micro switch to pin 10 of the 37 pin WH-00020-1 ES-00057 female connector that plugs into the EMS module.
I get a CAL (V) value change at pin 10 in the Sensor Debug Data screen when I move the flaps.
But I don't get the aural warning in flight.
So evidently I've missed something in the "programming".
Sure would appreciate some advice.
Thanks!

Not sure you need the switch. I have installed a Ray Allen position sensor and programmed the flap positions through the calibration routine in hardware setup, I think that’s where it is. When the flap is out of the calibrated up position and speed exceeds the max flap speed I get the warning. The RV12 kits I have built have this already set up you may just need to calibrate it.
