Obviously I'm doing something wrong Have HDX certified Tried Airmate for Sectional charts and couldn't get them tom load in the HDX. The unit only showed the Dynon map data base.
Tried Seattle Avionics data base and have the same issue Only the Dynon data base shows up on the map

I get good download report when I load the USB on my laptop
I get a good download into the HDX screen but only the Dynon ground map shows
NO SECTIONAL presentations on either data stream

Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks

Have you gone to MAP CONTROLS - MAP LAYERS in the menu and selected the layers you want to display? If you aren't in the US, the MAP LAYERS button may be labeled something else, but should still be the leftmost button. HDX loads the basemap internally, but looks for the approach plates, sectionals, and hi/lo charts under the chartdata folder on the USB drive. Is the drive still plugged in, and are the files there?

YIPPEE!! Problem fixed!!! Thanks!
Didn't think of that and I didn't install the first set of maps so I didn't know of MAP LATYERS being Sectionals
Now I do
I thought by downloading the SA data that would just replace the topo map But NO it don't work that way.
Learn something new every day
Thanks again

Enroute VFR, IFR Low Altitude, IFR High Altitude Charts
When a USB stick with supported enroute charts is connected to your SkyView display(s), enroute chart options will be available under MAP > LAYERS.
To View Charts
In the MAP LAYERS menu there are options for VFR, IFR LOW, and IFR HIGH. Choose a chart type in this menu to replace the SkyView digital representation on the moving map with it. A particular chart type is only selectable if the product is on the USB stick. Pressing TERRAIN will return to the normal SkyView moving map plus terrain.
SV User's Manual

You did read the manual, right?

The manual is 300 pages
The item I needed was in just 2 lines in 300 pages Just didn't remember it
Just like all the other AFMs I've had to know in 60 years of flying
Manuals for all the Boeings from 727 to 767 DC9 DC10 LRJet CE500
And many small aircraft Yes I do read manuals

You have to forgive some of us here. You wouldn't believe how many people simply don't read the manuals. So, after a while, it can get to be somewhat of a sore point. People start making assumptions, cats and dogs start living together, mass hysteria... You get the idea. Basically total protonic reversal. :)
