I have a Safety-Trim system with RayAllen servos that has indicator voltage of 12 volts. Can this be used for the indicator signal for the Skyview, or does in have to use 5volts?

You need to use 5V. You can theoretically use some resistors to divide the voltage down from 12V, but be aware that if the Ray Allen indicator fails, or is unpowered, it will mess up the reading on SkyView, so there is no redundancy.

Most people don't install the Ray Allen indicator and just use the SkyView. It can power the sensor directly.

I am still confused. I don't want to use the Ray Allen indicators, just the Skyview to view the position sensors. My question is can I use 12 volts as indicator power thru the servos into Skyview, or does it have to be 5volts thru the servo into Skyview? Will the 12volts going into the Skyview damage the EMS?

You cannot use 12V as "indicator power." You can power the servo from 12V. These servos have 5 wires - two are to move the motor, three are for position feedback. The power to move the motor never touches the position wires, so it doesn't matter what voltage is used to move the motor. SkyView itself powers the indicator side of the trim servo.

Page 7-48 of the SkyView install guide tells you exactly how to hook this up.
