I just heard about a surveillance balloon tethered at Matagorda Tx. It rises up 15,000 agl. Wondered what a point obstacle like this would look like on your Skyview screen.

There are lots of these around. They would show up as an obstacle icon, no different than any other obstacle. The difference is that they have airspace around them to keep you out.
