Second Review of Dynon in Cross Country Flight

Folks,

I have been asked to post my experiences with the Dynon Skyviews, and my Velocity.

I have updated my website with observations about the Dynons while in flight. It is not as detailed as I would like, but I will add more details.

I hope to add some videos (not from my cell phone  ) in the future.  I will wait for the ARINC-429, and Xponder and use the video to assist in my training development.

Any update on the ARINC-429 adapter availability. Last reply was October 2010.

It will be shipping when the 2.6 software releases, which we hoped would be this week, but looks like it might be early next week due to one last bug we found.

Does this mean the Xponder, ARINC-429, and Map software will all be released at the same time? Tim

Feature-wise, 2.6 is transponder, ARINC-429, and Traffic (from some devices, namely our transponders, and anything that outputs Garmin format TIS format traffic - which enables GTX 330 traffic, Zaon and other devices like the NavWorx ADS-B receiver). The next big map update is 3.0, due in January.
