Selecting Fly over vs turn anticipation for way points

I hope this is not a RTFM problem but here goes. I am looking to see if there is a way to set waypoints for fly over vs. enabling turn anticipation (turning to the next leg before the waypoint). I have read where the status is indicated in the flight plan, but nothing talking about how to enable/disable.
