Sensor trouble

I've just run my RV-7's engine for the first time and a few sensors aren't talking to the FlightDek 180. The oil pressure was showing, but has now stopped. The manifold pressure isn't showing, the amps (with a GRT hall effect sensor) are jumping about all over the place. Also, when I tried to calibrate the fuel levels (capacitance senders) the sensor values don't change as fuel is added. Lastly, the trim position isn't showing on the EFIS pages.
Lots of questions. How do I go about fault finding the above snags? Oil temp, fuel pressure, rpm and everything else is fine.

Manifold pressure: what do you mean it "isn't showing"? Is it stuck at a value, or not on the display at all?

Hall effect sensor: Verify that you have the output wire going to the amps high (pin 24) input. Also, make sure that SETUP > SENSORS > CURRENT > SENSOR TYPE is set to "2" as the manual describes.

Fuel: What kind of capacitance senders? The Vans plates? Or the Princeton ones? If the former, the D180 migth warn you that there's no change when there's actually a small amount of voltage change. If that's the case, you should be OK. What are the numbers from the table that you got at the end of the calibration process?

Trim: Do you have trim on the EMS info items but not on the EFIS page? Or not even on the EMS page?
