I have wired my panel with your harnesses for a D-180, HS34,AP74 and D-100. I have 2 female D9 plugs from the D-180, one to input software and one to retrieve data. I also have a female D9 plug from the HS34 and one from the D100. Will I need these last 2 D9 plugs to input software or are these not used with all the devices wired together through the DSAB system?

You need all of them to do software updates.

Another option is to buy a rotary 2-pole switch, feed all of the serial lines to discreet positions on the switch and have a single 9-pin dongle. You then simply select which function you are performing (EFIS update; HS34 update; Data logging) before firing up the software.
