Serial in and Fuel Information

I know that Dynon will be implimenting in future releases serial out data. But I was wondering, until that time, can the skyview system be setup to recieve RS 232 in from a fuel computer like the EI series and than display its fuel information on the Dynon??

The SkyView cannot do that, partially because the SkyView has a fully integrated, quite powerful fuel computer built right in. Why would you want to use the external fuel computer?

I imagine that the Dynon has a powerful fuel computer but for folks like me, I have an integrated one built into my panel already. Doesn't make a lot of sense for me to buy the EMS just for a fuel computer if I already have one. This is the only reason I ask. I guess I will wait for the RS 232 out so I can get fuel at destination and fuel required. :-/
