I have installed a Dynon AH servo using the appropriate RV4 fitting kit. The servo is mounted with the motor pointing to starboard and orientated aft of its gearbox (closer to aft than fwd).
Am I correct in assuming that the servo shaft rotation direction for elevator UP/Down for each particular installation is automatically detected by the Dynon D-10A during setup calibration/test mode, the instructions do not confirm this.
In other words does the D-10A learn during setup which way you have mounted the servo and adjusts the software to provide the appropriate rotation direction of the shaft to ensure correct UP/Down elevator direction to mirror that provided by the stick, before locking it in NVM? :-/
