Servo Test

I ran the calibration of the servos and tried a test but am getting slip in pitch. Roll is fine. I haven't tried it in the air yet. The servos are SV32 in a Glasair II. The pitch trim is spring loaded. The servo can't go to full deflection against the pitch trim spring.

Is this a problem? It's pretty doubtful that the AP will ever require full pitch deflection. I have the servo arm connection at the shortest length (max torque). I could move the position on the pitch linkage to lengthen the travel as there is a bit of room or find weaker pitch trim springs or go to the SV42.

Any suggestions.

This is typical for the Glasair irrespective of autopilot type due to the heavy duty spring bias trim system. ;)

Pm me if you want more info.
