Servo wiring clarification

Can someone clarify why there are 2 female DS9 connectors showing in the wiring diagram?
Where are most of you splitting off the power, ground and interrupt wires?

Not sure of why the two DS9 connectors other than to make it easy to remove the servo. I used a wire block to splice into the network. The servo were at the back near the ADAHRS so I spliced in there. One side is the network in and out and the other side in to the servos. I didn't cut all the network wires, just the ones I needed.

Good idea using the terminal strip, but I'd like to stick with the D-sub connectors, just don't understand the diagram.
