I recently installed a 409 device and added it. After I was finished, the servos were not recognized. When I looked at the network, they were not there. I "rediscovered" them and now everything looks fine.

I just don't understand what happened. Do I need to do the servo calibration wizard again? They (and the autopilot) have been working fine up to now.

Any ideas?

To get the SV-ARINC-429 module recognized in the SkyView Network, you have to perform a network configuration. What often happens is that the circuit breaker for the servo (often, incorrectly, labeled "AP") is off during such network configurations, and thus the servos aren't in the network and the AP won't function. Powering up the servos and doing another Network Configuration fixes the problem and the servos do not have to be recalibrated.
