Both the owners manual and installation manual for the FlightDEK-180 discuss the availability of Recording Tach Time, simiular to the round gage recording tach from the dynasoar years.

While I have lobbied in the past for a method to provide airtime, I am ready to conceed that I will use your method of figuring out "tach time."

Problem is, I can not find instructions to set this feature. Can anyone provide me step by step directions to configure your units?

Under the tach sensor setup, you set the "cruise" rpm. One tach hour accumulate for each hour at that rpm value, and it will accumulate proportionately faster and slower for rpm higher or lower than that value.

You can also pre-set the tach time (for engines that have > 0 tach time when you install your EMS) under the global setup menu.

That's all there is to it!
