I have a precision air motive ecu on my io360. It's rpm pulse is signal is 2 per revolution. I have looked thru the engine setup wizard and for my lycoming engine I can not find a data entry field where this parameter is changed. Do I need to have an "other" engine type selected to get access to this field?
Thanks

Try going into Setup Menu - System Setup - Aircraft Information, you'll find the PPR at bottom of page. A careful read of the Install Manual would find this ;)

Thanks Jake!

In v10.0 (if memory serves) we moved that setting out of AIRCRAFT INFORMATION in to a more intuitive location

You'll now find this setting under SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > EMS CALIBRATION > TACHOMETER CALIBRATION.

Yes I found that it had moved from where the documentation said it would be to the EMS Calibration section of hardware setup after I had posted the question. Maybe Ver.11 documentation update will catch that change?

I stand corrected, was using memory of past installs so obviously haven't done new installs with vers 11 - well that's my excuse ;D

Cam:

Check Rev R (concurrent with v11.0), Page 7-36, Installation note (nut symbol):

Tachometer pulses/revolution are set in the Engine Information Wizard – SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > EMS CALIBRATION > TACHOMETER CALIBRATION. I did a quick scan for "TACHOMETER CALIBRATION" and all the references I found were correct as above.

Was there another reference in Rev R (v11.0) that you found that was incorrect?
