I am still trying to get approval from the UK LAA for my installation. They have a slight issue with the large offset on the roll servo to bellcrank fitting in the event of a servo jam. Presumably they are worried that enough force can be appied to the servo to break the pin without distorting the fitting.
Can you tell me what the shear pin break torque is for the SV42 servo? Then I should be able to design a test to prove the system.
