Can the Amps shunt fail to send a correct reading to the EMS?  Other that failure of the cross bar, I don't see how a shunt can cause erroneous current reading.  -99 is where we gave up.  Both wires read continuity from connector to terminal thru both fuses.  Dynon bench test couldn't duplicate problem.

There's a simple test- hook both wires from the EMS module to the same point on the amps shunt. You should now see zero on the amps display. If you don't, you either have a broken connection to the EMS, or a broken EMS.

There is one thing on the D120 EMS though, which is that the voltage on the shunt must be at 6V or above. It will read -99 if your shunt is on a ground wire instead of positive wire, or your shunt is on a switched wire and doesn't have power on it.
