I searched the site to see if there had been other posts on this but can't find any:

I have Foreflight Pro on a iPad which has its own GPS/Cellular data capability.  I have Skyview Touch with the knobs etc. in an RV12 SLSA purchased from Van's....not a kit.  It has all the bells and whistles on it.

I have the Skyview WiFi adaptor installed.

But: During the flight and usually after about five minutes the chart depiction on the iPad and Firelight does two things.
A. It stops panning....the aircraft symbol moves to the bottom of the screen despite the command input to display track up and center the B747 icon I use (better than RV12 for old eyes):)
B. Then the entire thing freezes up.

Obviously I am doing something wrong but I can't figure out what it is......maybe the GPS with Cellular data in the iPad is conflicting with Skyview or

Demons have taken over my airplane :)

Thanks,
EBB

EBB,

I have the same setup and I have been having some issues. There was just an update for Foreflight, which seems to have helped. Have you installed this latest update? It brings Foreflight to version 7.1.1. If not do it, so we can see if it helps you. I'm noticing that when hooked to the skyview, Foreflight seems to want to try and get weather info for the airports, as though it was hooked to the internet. to me it looks like it thinks it is on the web because of the WiFi connection to Skyview. I have also had a few crashes of Foreflight durring flight. One thing that seems to help is to shutdown all apps and reboot the Ipad, then load Foreflight. Good Luck.
