I have a 10 year old D180 Flite Dek in my Jabiru and have decided it's time to do a complete renovation and bring my dash up to the latest. I'm curious to know which bits I can or should keep and what needs to be replaced.

I have a D180, AP74, external Dynon magnetometer, 2 Dynon autopilot servos ( sorry but forget what their model names are, 6 EGT and 6 CHT sensors.
I have been toying with the idea of keeping the D180 and moving it over to the co-pilot side so the co pilot can fly using the D180 and the PIC can fly on the sky view.

I have 2 micro air radios and a transponder in the dash. While I know the skyview has one radio I really want to keep a second com radio so need to consider compatibility with the one in the skyview.

So all advice about which of the things I have will work with the new stuff - and what I will need to get.

Also I'm planning on doing all the actual work in December so I'm thinking I should get a HDX if they are available by then.

Any ideas?

Most cost effective-
keep D180 & Magnetometer but remove the AP74, some wiring changes will be needed.
Buy HDX later as mentioned.
SV does not have an included radio, it is separate. Buy PAR200A radio/Audio panel or buy SV Com but you will need to add an Intercom & do some switching, PAR solution is neater/simpler & better IMO as it gives you an excellent intercom & simple control of all the audio.

Pm me for more input.
