SkyView Attitude Adjustment?

I received my SkyView last Friday and performed a quick bench test. With the ADAHRS level, the pitch attitude showed about +37 degrees. The user guide says that you can make a maximum pitch adjustment of +or- 20 degrees. Has anyone else had issues with this, or am I missing somethig in the installation guide?

Thanks,
Bill

something is defiantly amiss... it would be good to post a picture of the screen and adahrs together in this configuration showing the severe error in pitch.  with my unit installed in the plane and everything 'nuts' on level i had to adjust -.4 degrees.

you might check in the information pages for the total operational time... mine reported some 30+ hours before i even turned it on suggesting an extensive qa/qc period prior to shipping.  a unit displaying 37 degrees off could not be missed with even casual observation...

It's broken if it really is showing 37 degrees with the ADAHRS level. The adjustment is only if your flight angle isn't 0 degrees- the ADAHRS is fully calibrated at the factory and shouldn't need any adjustment.

Agreed a picture would be helpful in diagnosis, but it does sound like your ADAHRS needs to be looked at by us at Dynon. All the sensors and calibrations are in the ADAHRS so there's no reason to believe anything else in the system would need to come back.

Does the ADAHRS react properly as you move it around?

I didn't take a picture during the test, but I will. The ADAHRS seems to work well when moved around, it just shows the pitch attitude very high.
