I can understand Dynon's stance on not releasing Skyview Dealer Demo software to the masses, but I think you are missing a significant opportunity. Today I had the chance to "play" with a unit at ACS with the Dealer Software running and found it a significant training aid. A few minutes with it clarified several things I did not understand in the Operators manual. I think if I had had more time it would have been a super training aid

How about giving consisderstion to a training aid load so we can see the unit operating under simulated flight condition?

We do believe there's value in a lot of feature ideas, including this one. For example, we know we're losing sales since we don't yet have a XXXXXX-killer mapping platform. It's always a challenge to prioritize what comes first, but do know that we are listening to these requests, even though we don't always engage in deep discussion about them here on the forum.

Granted, I've only played with the SkyView on the bench, connected to the EMS and ADAHRS and a GPS PVT-only board, but it seems pretty easy to learn so far.

However, that said, I think you'd benefit greatly from either the capability to put the unit into simulated flight mode (perhaps with some loadable config files for the flight), or (even better in some ways), a training program much like the one available for the Garmin 430/530 (desktop simulation of the features and operations of the unit).

Just a thought. I know resources for development are limited, and your priorities are capability, capability and capability :). But do think about it...
