One use to consider for the discrete input on the Skyview harness would be to take a screen shot.

Are discrete inputs a feature that is considered for the near future?
When you do implement discrete inputs it would be nice if they were programmable. A suggested list of programmable functions could be anything that could be done with a series of keystrokes with the buttons on Skyview. A waypoint is a good example. In that case pressing a button connected to a discrete input pin would perform the function: MAIN MENU > MAP > MENU > CREATE WAYPOINT. The two button combination (2 - 7) to take a screen shot is another example.
