Skyview EMS Harness - unknown D9

Hello,

I'm installing an EMS 220 into a Skyview system and have a D9 connector attached to the Orange 11/Yellow 12/Black 30 from the D37 connector.

My panel was prepared by Stein and this plug does not show on their print. It also does not show up in the Skyview installation info.

This is a Main Sensor Wiring Harness 100399-000.

I would like to know if this D9 female plug is a Dynon installed part and what it is for?

OK, SteinAir says this D9 plug is a vestige from the stand alone D10 and D180 displays and was for programing.

So the question has evolved to:

Is there any reason to keep me from removing the plug and using the yellow and orange as A config inputs for Aux Fuel Qty?

I realize there is a ton of information in the manual, but this is covered on page 7-5 of the SkyView install manual. You can use the yellow and orange for GP inputs if you wish.

I had done a PDF find on ems, harness, d9 and it did not come up.
