I have serial TX line 2 going to EMS pin 19.  I have the D10 set to NMEA/Auto.  Not sure what to set the skyview serial 2 port to.  Seems like I should set it something like:

In device: none
In function: none
in/out baud: not sure--but could try each one
out device: some sort of gps function (but shows dynon converter and icarus)

Wanting to enable the HP and range function by bringing in GPS/GPS alt.

Re: Skyview GPS to EMS Module

SkyView doesn't currently transmit NMEA GPS data, though it will in the future. Can't promise a date though.

For now, you might be able to split the puck's feed to the EMS-D10, but I don't have a setup so I can check that right this moment. I'll get an answer on that tomorrow.

Re: Skyview GPS to EMS Module

So actually, the 5hz puck outputs at 38400 baud, which the EMS-D10 doesn't support, so this setup won't work (but we'll eventually pipe NMEA out from the SkyView display itself, as previously mentioned).

Thanks much for the prompt response--you guys rock! Do you have an estimated month/year for the NMEA output----not looking to hold you to it---just trying to get an idea.

Is skyview piping out the nmea yet?---still looking to port it over to my EMS-D10 for the horsepower calculation.
