I am completing my Zenith Cruzer and calibrating the tanks. I bought the Skyview from Zenith and at the time was told that I did not need a fuel flow transducer, ie, the Skyview made those calculations. I have read the Dynon documentation several times and it refers to having an 'optional fuel flow sensor' or transducer. Bottom line that I need is do I need a fuel flow transducer with the HDX?

Yes, for fuel flow calculations, you need a fuel flow transducer. If the ECU had an output that mimics a EI/Floscan style sensor, that would work too (I have no knowledge that it does, though)
