SkyView hdx issue

I recently upgraded from my SkyView “classic” to the new latest and greatest hdx.
The images do not fill the whole screen - there is a wide black area of emptiness below the maps etc.
Is this normal or sm I missing a screen display option?

It appears you are missing the bottom band EMS display. See the last section in the Dynon link below for a file named "bottomband.dfg", and specifically Item 5 under "Loading Settings and Additional SkyView HDX Setup" for instructions on installing it.

"Notes: SkyView HDX’s EMS pages are available in 100%, 50%, and Bottom Band format. It does not have a 20% vertical page like your legacy SkyView did . Therefore, you will need to construct a new bottom band that is appropriate for your aircraft. The shipping default layout for the Bottom Band is attached to this article. You may load this to use as a starting point for your engine. Note that these defaults are set up for a 4 Cylinder Lycoming or similar. Ensure that all redlines and ranges are correct for your limitations."

Thank you. I reinstalled that file and rebooted the HDX. Now it seems to be working.
