Skyview Map blanks momentarily

I have been using my dual 7" Skyviews in the the test phase of my new RV7 and have repeatedly experienced the map display blanking momentarily and then immediately reloading. When this happens the autopilot disconnects and the route disappears from the display and has to be reactivated. This happens once or twice per hour of flight. Any suggestions on the cause?

That's almost guaranteed to be happening because your GPS is dropping out or the wires to the GPS are intermittent.
