SkyView network - nice feature

Over the last few weeks I have gotten an intermittent “standby network failure” alert on both ADHARS modules - including the suspect connector pins.

A few minutes of ringing out the one network line associated with this yielded the problem, a female pin on one 9 pin connector that did not make good contact with it‘s male counterpart. A few minutes of replacing the 9 pin connector and all is good.

A tip of the hat to the Dynon engineers on adding this feature.

I have also seen this before where it was a pin that did not lock in properly caused the message to show.

I can't count the number of pushed pins I had to repair in the Air Force. Some things never change.
