I had the skyview powered up and all the network devices were found.

Still had a lot of setting up to do last night so this morning when I powered it up the fan started immidiatly when powered which seemed odd because I dont remember it doing that yesterday and then instead of booting to the boot screen it flashed a scteen with multi color lines in it for several seconds then shut down.

a few more seconds and it tries again with same results. It seems as if it is locked in a bootloader mode.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you know what firmware was installed on the SkyView display when this happened?

If you have a backup battery connected, try disconnecting it to see if it changes the symptoms.

If not, likely it will have to come back to Dynon for repair. Please contact our Tech Support department at 425-402-0433 or support@dynonavionics.com.

I had gotten stuck with this problem and later came to know of the fact that this happens every time that I have low voltage of battery ... We normally switch on the unit before starting the engine and with low performing battery .. it will not boot... so ... Now i tend to Keep the battery charged .. hence every boot is a successful boot...

[please note: this is what I think happened to my unit and the solution worked for me ]

Thanks for the info. However mine had this problem with 28 volts measured at the power source.

I sent it in for evaluation. Have not heard back from them on it yet.
