I'm wiring up my serial ports in my SkyView. I'll have the following:
serial #1= SL70 transponder
serial #2 =SL30 nav/comm
serial #3 = GX60 gps/comm
serial #4 = Garmin 696
serial #5 = Dynon GSP puck

So, my questions are
serial #1 - hook up both tx and rx
serial #2, #3, and #4 - hook up rx into SkyView only
serial #5 - hook up all 4 wires

The SL30 is to receive from the GX60, the GX60 is to receive from the SL30, and the 696 is to RX from the GX60. Since each unit can only RX once, I was wondering if I was missing anything? I.e. Would there be any reason to have a GPS or SL30 receive from the SkyView?

Thanks

For now, that's looking OK. Further down the development pipeline, you may see the ability for our products to pass along frequency change requests to the radios (which is what you're doing with the GX60/SL30/696, I gather), so you might think about how to wire so that you can make changes sometime down the road.
